The COP (continuous optics platform) is a new monolithic type upper receiver system created and manufactured by Aero Precision USA. Aero Precision needed to create an evolution to the look of the COP platform that complimented their rebrand. The "O" in COP is a nod to the 3 main pieces of the receiver.
